When we lived at mile 18 of East End Road it was fascinating how sometimes the fog would roll in off of Kachemak Bay, clear out into a sunny day and then roll in again. Down low nearer Homer the fog rarely rolls in, and never multiple times in a day.
Here is one of those foggy days up the road, with a faint rainbow. I love how the trees stand starkly in the mist. This was obviously before the Fire of 2010 that turned the spruce trees to sticks.
